We are seeking a Manager – Kindergarten Educational Outcomes to lead curriculum excellence and drive educational impact across our kindergarten services in the Barwon region.
About the Role
As the Manager – Kindergarten Educational Outcomes, you will:
- Lead a team of kindergarten professionals to deliver high-quality, compliant early childhood education programs.
- Drive curriculum excellence and implement the Best Start Best Life reform across 31 kindergarten services.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to educators, ensuring alignment with National Law, Regulations, and the National Quality Framework.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes for children and families.
- Oversee operational and pedagogical leadership, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Position Details
- Ongoing Part-time position
- 0.8 FTE working 60.8 hours per fortnight
- Salary as per VECTEA 2020 - Advisor level 3 (pro-rata for part time)
- This role includes access to a vehicle, in line with award entitlements

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA and suitable pursuant to the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.) Including current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Other qualification/experience will be considered but it is essential to have extensive knowledge & experience under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 (National Law) and the Education and Care National Regulations 2011 (National Regulations).
- Comprehensive understanding, knowledge and application of the National Education and Care Services Act and Regulations 2011 and the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) National Quality Framework and Standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Best Start Best Life reform and the strategic and operational acumen in how the reform applies in a practical sense to kindergarten services.
- Senior leadership experience and knowledge of an Early Years Management organisational requirements.
- Substantial experience as a senior Leader who develops, supports and maintains high performing and effective teams.
