Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children? We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Educator to bring energy and enthusiasm to this dynamic role. Based out of Poa Banyul and working across Meli’s network of kindergartens, this multi-site position offers variety—no two days will be alike.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator - Diploma (Multi-Site Support), you will:
- Start your day at 8am and travel to one of Meli's network of kindergartens to cover both planned and unplanned leave.
- Adapt quickly to different kindergarten environments and seamlessly integrate into various teams.
- Provide high-quality, inclusive early childhood education programs
- Step in as the Responsible Person in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of different kindergarten settings.
Position Details
- Part time ongoing position working 8am till 4:45pm, 4 days a week
- 0.92 FTE working 35 hours per week
- Preferred working days are Monday to Thursday
- Based out of Poa Banyul, working across Meli's network of kindergartens.
- This position is a multi-site role and will be required to work across any Meli Kindergarten Service.
- Must have reliable transport and full comprehensive car insurance - reimbursement for travel from the base location will be paid in line with the VECTEA.
- Salary as per VECTEA 2020 - $27.14 to $27.96 p/h (depending on experience and qualification)

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA) & current and valid Working with Children Check.
- Knowledge of the National Education and Care Services Act and Regulations 2011 and the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and ECEC National Quality Framework and Standards.
- Ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and meet required timeframes in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Ability to work and adapt quickly to different team environments.
- Experience working within an early childhood setting, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Reliable transport and full comprehensive car insurance, ensuring you can travel to various sites as needed.
