About the Opportunity
Join Meli as a Kindergarten Programs Officer and play a key role in supporting early childhood education programs across Geelong, the Bellarine, and Colac regions. This position is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference through administrative support, ensuring our kindergartens run smoothly and provide a welcoming environment for staff, children, and families alike.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Kindergarten team, assisting with school readiness funding, recruitment coordination for kindergarten positions, professional development scheduling, and the onboarding process for new team members. This varied and meaningful role requires strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing administrative tasks.

- Part time on-going opportunity commencing 20 January 2025
- 0.6 FTE working 22.8 hours per week - hours can be worked flexibly across the week
- $73,961 p/a (pro-rata) + Super

About You
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A Certificate III in Business or similar or demonstrated experience in a similar role, incorporating office administration and data entry.
- Demonstrated experience working autonomously and self-managing workload to ensure a timely response to requests.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and all abilities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and knowledge of a range of IT Programs.
- Understanding of the challenges and complexities of the Early Childhood Education sector.
