About the role:
The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of high quality, innovative and inclusive early childhood education programs.
The Early Childhood Educator will contribute as required to the development, implementation and documentation of safe and developmentally appropriate education programs for each child. The position will work as part of a team to ensure kindergarten operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedure including direct supervision of children and the creation and maintenance of a safe and healthy kindergarten environment.

- This role is based in Bell Park working at Bell Park Kindergarten
- Part-time position, working 18.5 hours per week. Please see below table for the weekly roster.
- Fixed Term until 22 August 2024 (Parental leave cover)
- Salary as per VECTEA 2020 - $26.87 to $27.68 p/h (depending on experience and qualification)

About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s’ Education and Care Quality Authority - ACECQA)
- Knowledge of the National Education and Care Services Act and Regulations 2011 and the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and ECEC National Quality Framework and Standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and co-operatively in a team environment
- Experience working with children
